Dr. Jan Osborn - eTech Ohio Commission

Dr. Jan Osborn has been the Superintendant of Putnam County Schools since 1993. Before becoming an instructor at Bowling Green State University, Ohio Northern University and the University of Findlay, he served in numerous capacities primarily in K-12 special needs education. Dr. Osborn received a Doctorate of Philosophy in Educational Administration and a Masters of Education from Bowling Green University. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Education from The Ohio State University.

Dr. Osborn is a 2007 recipient of The Ohio State University Hall of Fame award, and a 2004 Ohio Pioneer in Education award winner. He is a member of Putnam County's Connect Ohio Planning Committee and serves as the Assistant Director of Project MORE, a special education mentor reading program in 150 schools.
