With government help, broadband availability approaching total coverage | marionstar.com | The Marion Star

MANSFIELD - With an assist by the federal government, broadband access continues to grow across north central Ohio, even if in more rural portions of Ohio there remains some blackout.

"We've found that businesses with a Web site have, on average, twice as many revenues per year than businesses that don't," said Dave Sweet, a spokesman for Connect-Ohio, a non-profit that collects data on broadband usage across the state. "We're trying to be enablers, but we don't have a magic wand of funding..."
