Evans to vie for commissioner — The Delphos Herald

Van Wert County farmer and small business owner Bill “Wilbur” Evans is announcing his candidacy for Van Wert County commissioner. He is seeking the seat currently held by Harold Merkle.

Evans is also an active member of Van Wert County Community Improvement Corporation. While on this board he has helped to begin the Innovation Center, a place for small businesses to begin operating. He is working with Connect Ohio to bring broadband internet service to the Village of Convoy and surrounding areas.
