Connect Ohio trying to get broadband to all

Connect Ohio, a nonprofit broadband research and advocacy firm, has completed mapping that shows where broadband service s available and allowing consumers to identify broadband service providers for their home and business addresses, according to a news release.

The initial phase of data collection for the State Broadband Data and Development Program was submitted to the National Telecommunications and Information Administration on May 31. Information on cable, DSL, fiber, fixed wireless and mobile wireless was provided by companies that offer broadband service.
